I began my career in Bodywork and Alternative healing back in 2009, graduating from The Core Institute of Massage Therapy and Bodywork. In the first years of my practice I focused solely on Sports Therapies, Medical Massage, and Core Myofascial Bodywork.

As I grew more experienced I noticed there were deeper layers of tension in clients that weren’t getting addressed with the regular myofascial and deep tissue techniques I had learned.

After a period of searching, I discovered medical qigong energy work which completely shifted my perspective. I began to really accept what I had always known on some level… we hold our issues in our tissues.

While using medical qigong was effective at relieving my clients pain I began to sense that the underlying emotional and consciousness states associated with the physical pain issues were not getting addressed and, in some cases, these aspects where “locking” the pain issues in place.

This led me to both Craniosacral Therapy and VortexHealing.

Working with both Craniosacral Therapy and VortexHealing has allowed me to become more mentally, emotionally, and physically present, and to experience a greater sense of peace, connectedness, and ease in life. I have seen very similar changes in my clients as well.

What should I wear?

VortexHealing sessions are fully clothed sessions. Comfortable clothing is recommended.

What can I expect from a VortexHealing session?

VortexHealing is a powerful healing modality that can work on all aspects of your system.  That said, some people are more energetically sensitive than others.  You may feel twitching in different areas of the body, feelings of changing temperatures, various imagery within the mind, fluttering eyes, and feeling of being transported to a deeper state of consciousness, old memories coming to the surface, and more.  Or you may not feel a lot.  Most everyone comes out of a session feeling as if something distinct happened. VortexHealing will continue to shift and integrate in the days after a session as well.

Can I combine Craniosacral Therapy and VortexHealing in one session?

While there can be a level of energy work within Craniosacral sessions, VortexHealing sessions are done as a stand alone modality.

I am available for appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1-5:30. Please note: I do not accept same day appointments. Exceptions may be given in the case of physical pain emergencies when there is availability.
