Joseph Orion Canter (goes by Orion) received massage training at the CORE Institute of Somatic Therapy in 2012 and worked for several years as an LMT before auditioning for the FSU College of music where he earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance degree. He then went on to earn his Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music (widely considered one of the top music colleges in the world). While exploring options within his degree field, he has decided to return to bodywork to help others feel their best in life.

Orion’s multi-modality approach includes client instruction in body awareness as well as movement-based modalities like the Feldenkrais and Alexander techniques that effectively alleviate musculoskeletal ailments, promote deep relaxation, help to develop body awareness and improved movement patterns in injured tissues. He offers unique expertise in improving respiratory and vocal functioning through specialized bodywork.
