Advanced Alternatives Answers Doctors' Questions

We have designed Advanced Alternatives Massage Therapy to be the region's premier referral source for your physician colleagues.

At last, a professional, trusted clinical massage center for your patients with musculo-skeletal concerns.

• Chronic back pain
• Low back injuries
• Neck problems
• Limited mobility
• Headaches; muscle tension and migraines

For many physicians, treating individuals with chronic musculo-skeletal problems is challenging. Helping the patient achieve full recovery and function is rarely easy, or fast.

For these patients, massage can complement other treatment modalities.
In addition to the therapeutic value of massage, many patients find the relaxation and stress reduction beneficial.

All of our massage practitioners are fully licensed and certified in post- graduate advanced continuing education. We have all practiced in medical or sports settings.

Obtaining a massage for your patient

Most Blue Cross/ Blue Shield policies and some other Health Insurance Plans in Florida provide a massage benefit. You can refer patients with full confidence that we will verify that the treatment will be covered before providing treatment.

Rest assured, we are fully abreast of all the insurance issues related to massage therapy coverage, and will do all the screening, pre-qualification and billing to make sure that your patients have a completely trouble-free experience with our clinic.

You can refer patients with the confidence that you will not be caught in the middle of an insurance billing dispute.

Advanced Alternatives Massage Therapy, located in Cedar Wood Office Center, is operated as a practice geared toward providing complementary therapy for physicians and chiropractors.

Furthermore, we have the ability to provide chart notes and treatment plans that document progress toward the treatment goals that you prescribe- whether that be increased mobility, agility, greater relaxation or reduced muscle tension.

Our approach is clinical and professional at its core; at the same time we extend a warm welcome to make your patients comfortable with the massage experience.

Three convenient ways to make a referral.

1. Call us. Simply place a call from your office, and we'll get the information needed to welcome your patient into our practice.
2. Fax us. Use the treatment prescription pad, with the pertinent information. We'll follow-up with the schedule.
3. If you prefer, advise the patient to contact us.
